This 1981 Lancia Beta Zagato is a good running and driving car that appears to have been well maintained, but subjected to an unsympathetic repaint. Recently donated to a local charity, we are offering it on their behalf at No Reserve
Resprayed in the original black, the paint itself isn't terrible, but the bumper trim, door handles, and lift off top were all painted over and are now beginning to crack and peel. The lift off panel of the top has been replaced with an unpainted original, so there are two tops to choose from. The vinyl folding section is still in very good condition.
Inside, the leather shows some wear, but is still very nice with no seam splits or tears. Carpet looks good too. All controls seem to work, with the exception of the drivers side power window, and the hazard lights. The AC is not cold.
Mechanically, it runs well and drives nicely. The parking brake light is on, and there seems to be a bit of drag, so we assume the cable is broken. (no cable tension at lever)
An unusual Italian car that may be collectible soon.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. Payment can be made by Cash in person, Paypal, Bank Wire Transfer, Visa or Mastercard. Maximum amount payable by Paypal, Visa or Mastercard is $5K due to transaction charges. Out of state buyers will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after full payment is received.
