If you want a defender that has been completely gone through and updated, and have been quoted 80-100 thousand dollars to have one done or to do yours, you might want to check this truck out. It was purchased as a previous fire truck, the engine, hood, and dash were burned up. The restoration began. New motor, new paint, new top, new dash, (see pics it has the modern dash which cost about $12000 if you can find it) new radio with touch screen nav, high end audio system, new exmoor seats, new exmoor matting, jump seats to replace the bench, LEDs all the way around, upgraded suspension, Puma hood, KBR front end, color keyed fender flares, 5 Brand new BGF KO2s, and 5 new KAHN wheels. (also can do the alloy wheel like in the pics which ever the buyer wants) We just did a similar build for a customer on a 95 with more miles and he will have over $90, 000 in the truck and we are not touching the engine. This is a D90 not a Range Rover, if you think you are going to get the ride and comfort that a 2015 LR4 gives you don't even waste your time. The truck leaks when it rains, it is hot in the summer time, and cold in the winter. Also, if you are worried about the gas mileage, go buy something else. A D90 if for the guy or girl that gets it. If you need that explained to you, you don't. You also probably do not get the same feeling from an early morning fog rising off the river as you tie your first fly on. Not a bad thing but you probably would be complaining the water is cold.
