You are looking at a FRAME OFF RESTORED 1984 Black Land Rover Defender 90 Hard Top model. This is a nice, clean, Defender 90 that runs and drives as good as it looks. This vehicle has a clean US title with accident free history. You will notice that this vehicle has been professionally restored.
Almost $35, 000 was spent on this frame off restoration / not including countless man hours (Completed on November 2014). The restoration included, but was not limited to: Disassembling down to bare frame, blasting and zinc coating, line-x interior / exterior undercoating to include wheel arches, rebuilt 2.5L N/a engine with new head (2K), high quality paint job, reassembly of the body with MINT rust free bulkhead, stainless steel interior & exterior bolt kit, new clutch, brakes, brake lines, calipers, rotors, rebuilt transmission (only 2k miles), transfer case (only 2k miles), new upgraded shocks, springs, front anti sway bar, and rebuilt TD5 front and rear axles with disk brakes.

The exterior is in great condition. The wheels look great and the tires have full tread remaining. The hard top is in excellent condition and the windows look great. The only exterior apologies are a few minor scratches around the hinges which is typical for this type of vehicle.
The interior is in excellent to near perfect condition. Front seats look great and the matting has practically no wear at all.
This Defender drives well, but is not a speed daemon / designed for off road use. The manual transmission shifts well through all gears and performs as expected.
Note: The vehicle currently has 4 steel rims mounted per import regulations / 4x sawtooth rims have been packaged / both sets of rims are included in the sale.

Please note that you will see allot of defenders for sale that look good w/ lots of hidden rust, filler, ect. . Don't be fooled / ask for pictures of the restoration / had a few friends that spent thousands on what they thought was a near mint vehicle until they found the issues. .
Additional Info:
Hot spots for corrosion or rust: Bottom of doors / usually need to remove door card to see real damage, bulkhead under the window frame (both sides), behind windscreen hinges, foot wells (look for steel plates welded overtop holes / rusted areas should be completely cut out and replaced with OEM stamped panels, between seatbox and tub, battery box, behind tub ourtrigger mounts, underneath seatbelt mounts behind front seats, diamond plating is used to cover up damaged panels or highly corroded areas / especially inside tub and along the bottom of vehicle, cross members under tub...
