The Defender is currently registered in Hawaii. We moved to Texas and not yet registered it here as it is still valid in Hawaii. Vehicle is clean and clear title. It is a 1989 without warranty and it is a right hand drive. Due to the origin of make of this vehicle we had to get appraised as it was originally from Europe and that was the only way we could get it financed at the time. The VIN will not come up in any search, again due to the origin, so if there are any questions please feel free to email.
Upgraded
: Rebuilt the entire engine, brand new head, pistons and gaskets, fuel injectors, water pump, glow plugs, tires, Rims, Front Brake calipers and lines, rear brake drums and pads, suspension front and rear, clutch master cylinder, power steering pump, rebuilt the steering box, steering rods and clamps, thermostat, exhaust down pipe, front and rear turn signals, brake signals, running lights.
Minor concerns are the build up of grease around the frame that I have been slowly cleaning myself from when I purchased it. There is some minor rust and some pieces from the cab frame of the vehicle that need to be replaced. Some minor leaks from the engine for oil but thats what you get for a rebuild. The transmission has minor leaks but is still strong. The drive shaft has a minor leak but seems to be just the seals. The seals and gaskets for the axles but not immediate. When I started cleaning the 25 years of gunk off of the body underneath is when the leaks started to appear. I drove this everyday to and from work with no issues prior to rebuilding the motor and took off road and out did most of the jeeps with 4 busted pistons and cracked head. It stills needs some TLC as my hope was to have it rebuilt but it is just sitting and I have no time to pay the attention to it. It needs some tuning as after the rebuild of the engine I had to ship immediately as I was relocating for work. Any questions please feel free to send a message. More pictures upon request.
