For sale is a rare 1988 Land Rover 110 hard top, direct from UK Ministry of Defense, in very good condition. These vehicles were selected overseas from a group of 60 vehicles. The criteria included low miles, good chassis (frame), rot-free bulkhead (firewall), and good body.
The trucks were part of the United Kindom's Ministry of Defense (MOD) project Tithonus. Each Tithonus Land Rover was individually selected and fully refurbished by the MOD in 2007-2008 as part of the British Army LEP (life extension program).
The project was to extend the overall service life of the Land-Rovers by 10 years, from 20 to 30 years. Indiana title in hand
