This is a super clean, straight, rust free , left hand drive X-MOD Tithonus 110 . Our shop in Florida inspected and serviced the truck and then started civilizing it with some nice upgrades. It is a 1986. Ebay does not recognize these older Defender vin#. It comes with a clear, clean Florida Title, and is totally legal.
The upgrades make this the perfect truck for your beach house, ranch, or as your weekend toy. It is far more versatile and capable than other classic vehicles. It can go places and carry more people and stuff than nearly anything else.
We have built these trucks for the past few years and sold them to Nantucket, Cape Cod, Texas, Boston, Missouri and even a couple to a large zoo. Every customer has been very happy with them.

This truck was built to be a fun, practical, simple, reliable beach/weekend/adventure/vacation home/recreational vehicle. We started with a truck with great bones , great history, and great spec. These Tithonus 110s are the only Defenders we import, as they offer the best value and are in great condition. They could use a few upgrades and modern touches, and that is what this truck has received. With that said , there is still more stuff that can be done if the buyer wishes.
Tithonus Project Defenders were restored an upgraded between 2007-2008 to extend the service life of the fleet. Upgraded equipment included new Safety Devices Roll Cage, new Exmoor Outlast Seating, new Exmoor Insulated Matting System, and Wolf Heavy Duty Wheels.
The eingine is Land Rover's 2.5 NA Diesel, and the transmission is the LT77 5 speed. It runs, drives, shifts as it should.
We have built and sold many of these 110s and every owner has been totally satisfied. They are not for everyone. They are not show trucks. They are slow, and simple. They do not have : A/C, Bluetooth, power windows/locks/seats, ABS, DSC, NAV, ETC, EAS, Crusie Control, etc, etc. They do have a nice engine, transmission, brakes, seats, and soft top. Everything you need to get somewhere fun.
I have been a Land Rover Guy since 1998 and have sold well over two thousand of them. They are my passion . I build what I like. Hopefully others like it too, so that I can build and sell more.
