It has been fully refurbished from nut to bolt including:
- new engine (manufacturers test protocol provided)
(with new injection pump, new clutch, new starter)
- new gearbox
- new tyres Goodyear G90 7, 5x16
- new high quality perfect fit canvas top manufactured by exmoor trim GB
- new original military style seats in black vinyl
- new safety belts
- new windshield with rubber
new rearview mirrors
-new headlamps for right hand traffic
-new wiperblades
-new locks for door and ignition (keyed alike/6 keyes)
-new fuel tank
-new fuel tank cap /lockable 2 keys)
- all seals new
( doors, bonnet, ventilation damper, tailgate, both driveshafts)
- new front door sills
Car was stripped and all interior removed.
Dashboard, all instruments, wiring harness. .all removed.
Entire car sandblasted
Chassis treated with rust converter
and than primed and painted in semi matt black.
Body fillered, primed and painted in
BS361 light stone
Additionally underside of body was treated with a
protective undercoating/stone chip protection.
There are no rust issues at all. ..
Bulkhead, Footwells, outrigger, rear crossmember...
all sandblasted and rustfree.
We have a complete pioneers tool kit at the tailgate,
two gunholders between front seats, fire extinguisher
on lefthand footwell
and a nato style tow hitch with electrics.
All electrics 12 Volt
Our Defender was built in 1985 and has all matching numbers.
It is in absolutely original condition and runs like a dream
starts first time every time on the button and makes 26 mpg.
It is probably the best ex MOD Land Rover Defender
you will find at the moment.
Absolutely clean inside and out. .
rebuilt to a very high standard of german craftsmanship.
Engine is new and must be run in by new owner.
