This is a rare opportunity. This is a UK Defender 90 County that I imported last year from a friend in the UK. It is a 1986 but since its UK spec it doesnt have a 16 digit VIN so Ebay makes me list it as a 1980 or back. It was legally imported using the 25 year or older EPA & DOT exemption and has not only the Oklahoma title, but all EPA and DOT releases. There are a lot of illegal Defenders out there, but this one is not. I have the Build sheet from Rover, log book and all papers to prove its identity. This is a big thing, make no mistake. This truck is 100% original and legally imported/titled and registered.
OK down to the truck. It is a solid Truck that passed the stringent MOT inspection year after year that takes cars and trucks off the road for even minor damage or wear. It was in great shape and was used by my friend who lives in the UK before we shipped it over last year.
It has the great and reliable 2.5 turbo diesel engine with a manual gearbox and full time 4WD. The exterior has some paint wear and fading, but is still very presentable. The interior is original as well and in great shape. Mechanically its in good shape as well. Like I said, their inspection over in the UK is very tough to pass. vehicles must be in great shape both mechanically and body wise to stay on the road each year. Its ready to use. The only reason I am selling is I have a fully restored Defender on the way over now from the UK. Make no mistake, this truck will be sold. It is priced very reasonably and is for sale locally.
