This is my hand built miniature replica of my 1962 British Army FFR Series 2 88 Landy. It runs on 24Vwith 350W electric motor that is chain driven to the rear wheel. It has disc brakes and fully working suspension on the front with real tires not the horrid hard plastic rubbish. It has a two speed switch that uses a key that will set it at 5mph and 10mph as well as a start key like a real car. It has forward and reverse switch. front seats can lay down for tall people to drive. I am 6'1 tall and I can drive it with my little 2 year old and her friend sat in the back with no problem . This car is NOT a kit car. It is fully hand built by myself to replicate my 1962 Series 2 Landy. I put a lot of time into the details as you can see by the photos.. It really is a real little car. This is nothing like the cheap plastic toy power wheels cars you can buy at TOY'S R US. This is truly the best scaled down Land Rover you will find. I have full build photos of this car I will show anyone who comes to see it. The body is made from the highest quality hard wood ply and 2mm Aluminum. This will last for years. Your children could pass this on to their's. It took a lot of hours to make this little gem.. I have been engineering for many years and worked at Astin Martin Gaydon UK before coming to the USA. This little Landy is very strong and I can email videos of it driving with my wife and daughter in it. The front and rear lights work and you can wire up the turn signals if you wish. You can add to this just like a real car. It runs with my wife and daughter in it for aprox 45mins.. It will run longer with less weight. I am selling because my workshop is full and my little girl is only 2 and she is a little young to drive it on her own. I can always build her one later. It is a must for anyone who loves Landys. I can build a series 2/3 and Defender to order.. Christmas is coming and this would make a kid, s dream come true. You can even drive it to the store yourself depending on your weight.
