This auction is for a 2004 Land Rover - Discovery SE.It has a Sports Utility 4-DR body type with a 4.6L V8 OHV 16V engine.I bought this vehicle for my wife in October, 2004 from Land Rover Encino in Southern California. At the time of purchase, it had 5, 041 miles on the odometer. Land Rover stated that the original buyer experienced problems with financing and had to return the vehicle. In a recent VIN report, only 2 title records were noted, one was issued in Utah on 3/29/04 with 50 miles driven while the other was our title in California on 10/1/04 with the above mileage.It currently has 81, 195 miles on its odometer. My wife mostly drove it around town with very few long distance trip. With the purchase of a new vehicle for her, we decided it was time to pass on her beloved Land Rover.The vehicle is in very good running condition.All vehicle maintenance for the 1st 8 years were performed by Land Rover Encino, after which all maintenance has been performed by local mechanics.All 4 tires were purchased on 12/27/12 with 73, 407 miles on the vehicle, which means they have under 8, 000 miles of wear. The warranty is a 50, 000 mile / repair or replace, which means that within 50, 000 miles, the tires are covered until the tread wears down to 3/32.The battery was purchased on 12/30/15 and has a 3-year warranty from Walmart.The stereo system includes a 4-disc CD player with the discs located under the passenger seat and a cassette tape player in the dash unit.Minor problems include a very small oil leak and a computer error problem, common to Land Rovers, called the Three Amigos. The three warning lights on the dash (ABS, Traction Control and Hill Descent) illuminate without any performance issue existing. These lights turn on and off periodically. They are NOT continuously lit.Minor cosmetic problems include the driver's side window visor not being able to stay in the upward position without help and the center of the dash beginning to slightly warp and.Lastly, the paint on the roof and the center portion of the hood is very weathered.If you have any questions or wish to inspect the vehicle, please contact me.Thank you for your interest.
