You are bidding on a 1974 series 3 Land Rover North American Spec. truck last year imported to the US this vehicle is garage kept and well maintained I am a rover tech, the vehicle has just gone through some major repairs just installed a new clutch assembly new brakes new leaf spring bushings this rover was built from the ground up in the 90's and has every heavy duty modification that you can do to one of theses early land rovers starting with a galvanized frame it was painted black parabolic springs on military shackles to give it extra lift its riding on 33/12.50/15 radial super swampers and it rides quite smooth and quiet for a off road tire I also just rebuilt the front swivel pins and seals all new tie rod ends the axels are fitted with great basin heavy duty axels along with a Detroit locker in the rear and the front with a Detroit tru trac locker in the front this thing will go anywhere its basically a tractor and that is what it was built for this is not a highway vehicle it does have a over drive unit and will run at 60 on flat ground but it is not built for high ways as are none of the series vehicles off road this takes skill to drive manual steering and transmission the drive shafts are great basin heavy duty double cardon shafts also just rebuilt the cooling system water pump, radiator, hoses the truck is solid with no rust or rot the paint is old and has patina along with dents dings and scratches the doors close well I use this for what it was intended for but is well maintained it generally sits in the garage and is driven and off roaded occasionally the interior is in very good condition along with the glass the windows could use new window tracks as the felt is worn the roof rack is a brown church rack and is in excellent condition.
