You are bidding on a 1969 LAND ROVER Series 88 2a Bugeye that has had a complete frame off restoration. I bought this Rover from an employee of Rovers North in 2002 who did the restoration. Every part, bolt, and nut has been either replaced or reconditioned and I have a complete list of all the parts that were used. Most of the fasteners are stainless steel. I have only put 5, 889 miles on this Rover since I bought it. I am selling this Rover because I have four other complete Series Rovers and many parts for restoring them so I need the space to complete those projects. This Rover is not perfect it has some dents and scratches but would not take a lot to make it a show truck. The transmission was reconditioned along with a new factory 2.25 liter petrol engine from England with only 5, 889 miles on everything since the restoration. I do have the door tops that are included. I do reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it listed locally and elsewhere. I am listing this Rover at the least amount I am willing to accept which is well below what it is worth. I welcome all bidders to come and inspect and drive this Rover and ask any questions that you might have before bidding. It will be the responsibility of the winning bidder to pickup or make arrangements for transportation of this Rover. I would be willing to deliver this Rover within a 300 mile radius for an extra fee. I would like a deposit of $500.00 within 24 hours of the end of the auction with the remainder of the balance paid within 5 days.
