CLEAN, California rust-free 1994 LandRover Range Rover County Edition. The eight year of the Classic and the second year of build in Long Wheelbase ( LWB) configuration which was sold in the U.S for only 9 years, starting in 1987 with the first year of U.S importation, through early 1995.
The 1994 models mark the continued evolvement of earlier models to standard-production numbers manufactured with an honest-to-goodness Antilock ABS brake system. This is the second year of the limited-production LWB which was only made for 3 years. Aside from that, all the traditional Range Rover styling and design continued on until 1995 ( the last year of the iconic Classic ) when they were discontinued and the LWB went on to become automotive history.
This LWB is a SUPER SOLID, TWO-OWNER California LWB Classic, residing first in Beverly Hills, CA ( purchased new by a movie studio) since being purchased brand-new at Land Rover of Encino in Southern California in 1994. It moved up and down to Marin County and has been in the bay area all of its life. It scores an AUTOCHECK score of 55! in a 32-56 rating scale.
The Range Rover is a County model with beautiful burl wood throughout. Completely stock, and original LWB, with low 122K original miles. It starts, idles and drives great. In addition, it has the factory-installed SAFARI PACK: Front headlamp guards, brushguard, HELLA 520 auxilariary lights, HELLA 1000 foglights, side steps, tailight guards & factory tow package.

There is NO rust nor corrosion on this vehicle, as it would be expected from a California-lived RRC ( hard-pressed condition to find in any Classic beyond the Sierra mountains). BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS EAST OF THE WEST COAST~!
This LWB comes equipped with all the comforts, standard features and amenities of its time, along with the factory-installed OEM Safari package. Nice set of GOODYEAR radial tires ( approximately 85% of tread left) mounted on a set of factory special-order CYCLONE polished alloy wheels.
NEVER altered or lifted. NO NIGHTMARISH EAS to contend with, and this LWB Classic has already been converted to a normal coil & strut suspension. NO air-deflation nighmares to contend with ever! It rides very nicely.
Stock 4.2L engine runs EXCELLENT. As it is well documented in all Land rover circles, the 4.2L was a vast improvement over the early 3.5 & 3.9 engines as it was more robust and had more torque as a result of engine redesigning to increase displacement to a more efficient, reliable motor.
NO overheating issues, ticking nor any noises to contend with. LOW 122K original miles, better than average for any Land Rover.
Automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Low and High transfer cases work fine. Four-wheel Power disc brakes, Power steering, Power windows and Power heated seats, Sliding sunroof and Power mirrors ( one is finicky).
Finish is VERY NICE considering this RRC is nearly twenty five years young ! Its original paint in the desirable Alpine-White finish still shines remarkably well for an unrestored Rangie.
There is NO clearcoat flaking or damage to the finish on the roof, hood or filler panel areas, common on many Rovers, specially East Coast examples where the elements and salted roads have taken their toll on the body panels and undercarriage, a hindrance nearly impossible to repair!
The original Connolly tan upholstery is in very good condition and has held up surprisingly well. There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather in the seats. BOTH front seats are in good condition, with no splits, tears or seam separation. Headliner has been professionally refinished from end to end ( including the sunroof shade), and it looks GREAT.
In addition, this LWB still has the rare-as-hen's-teeth foldable rear cargo cover, almost always missing or usually broken in all Range Rover Classics.
Overall, a very clean interior, door panels, factory carpeting and trunk area. The photos show the Rangie accurately. NON SMOKER vehicle always.
Solid unrestored 94' Range Rover County Classic. It's a clean original LWB, with excellent miles and the good 4.2L engine. It runs very well with a strong, solid powertrain. Clean chassis, no tweaks and NO rust and still all-original interior. It will make a great traveler, off-roader or camping Rangie with some minor personal touches.
I've been around Land Rovers for over 30 years, and have owned various models and vintages. Classics are the best investment for the money, specially rust-free LWBs. SERIOUS inquiries ONLY, please.

Unlike the vast majority of Ebay sellers who simply sell what they do not know ( let alone car dealers!), I actually own a Land Rover ( actually, I own another LWB, an SWB, a 2010 Sport and two DIIs) and I am fairly familiar with all their quirks.

This Classic has a clear California title and currently registered in CA until the end of March 2017. In addition, it recently ( less than 30 days ago) passed its latest stringent CA Emissions test with flying colors.

Range Rover Classics are getting harder and harder to find, specially in original, unaltered condition and in LWB configuration. They are nearly impossible to find without them being all rusted out, or having to pay a premium for a clean example.
Simply put, there is nothing cooler and classier than a stock, original Range Rover Classic. Period.
Or you can drive a Prius or a Honda Civic, like everyone else.
