CLEAN, rust-free 1992 Land Rover Range Rover County Edition. The eight year of the Classic and the second year of build in Short Wheelbase ( SWB) configuration which was sold in the U.S for only 8 years.
The 1992 models mark the continued evolvement of earlier 1980´s models. The traditional Range Rover styling and design continued on until early 1995 (the last year of the iconic Classic ) when they were discontinued and the SWB County went on to become automotive history.
This is a SUPER SOLID, TWO-OWNER Rover. It´s a County model with beautiful burl wood throughout, with low 102K original miles. It starts, idles and drives great. In addition, it has a suspension kit upgrade (NO expensive air suspension issues to deal with, this SWB Classic has already been converted to a normal coil & strut suspension. NO air-deflation nighmares to deal with ever! It rides very nicely). There is NO rust nor corrosion on this vehicle, BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS EAST OF THE WEST COAST!
Very reliable motor, NO overheating issues, ticking nor any noises, as expected for a LOW 102K original miles Rover, better than average. The automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Low and high transfer cases work fine. Four-wheel ower disc brakes, power steering, power windows and power mirrors (one is finicky).
Finish is VERY NICE considering this RRC is twenty four years young! Its original paint in the desirable Alpine-White finish still shines remarkably well for an unrestored Rangie. There is NO clearcoat flaking or damage to the finish on the roof, hood or filler panel areas, common on many Rovers, specially East Coast examples where the elements and salted roads have taken their toll on the body panels and undercarriage, a hindrance nearly impossible to repair!
The original Connolly tan upholstery is in very good condition and has held up surprisingly well. There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather in the seats. BOTH front seats are in good condition, with no splits, tears or seam separation. Headliner in NOT sagging and it looks GREAT.
Overall, a very clean interior, door panels, factory carpeting and trunk area. The photos show the Rangie accurately. NON SMOKER vehicle always. Solid unrestored ´92 Range Rover County Classic. It's a clean original SWB, with excellent miles and the good 3.9L engine. It runs very well with a strong, solid powertrain. Clean chassis, no tweaks and NO rust and still all-original interior. It will make a great traveler, off-roader or camping Rangie with some minor personal touches.
I've been around Land Rovers for over 30 years, and have owned various models and vintages. Classics are the best investment for the money, specially rust-free SWBs. SERIOUS inquiries ONLY, please. I do not need nor like to photoshop pictures, depict fancy photographic shoots, scenic backdrops, what other Range Rovers look like restored, nor embellish what I sell. My reputation, my feedback and my seller history speak for themselves. Unlike the vast majority of Ebay sellers who simply sell what they do not know (let alone car dealers!).
I have priced this Classic SWB fairly and way below-market to sell, as it is a nice unrestored example of a clean, rust-free RRC. A minty LWB would be way over $15K to start. I am also advertising this vehicle in other venues, and as such, I reserve the right to end this listing at any time, should a serious offer or a BUY-IT-NOW opportunity present itself.
Range Rover Classics are getting harder and harder to find, specially in original, unaltered condition and in SWB configuration. They are nearly impossible to find without them being all rusted out, or having to pay a premium for a clean example. Simply put, there is nothing cooler and classier than a Range Rover Classic, period.

Please be aware, I do not control pick up or delivery times should you purchase it; that is pending weather conditions and shipping/ trucking delivery schedules.
Note: Do not calculate shipping cost based on the Ebay calculator. Shipping to just about anywhere on the East coast is less than $1000. Other parts of the U.S closer to California are considerably less, of course. I will do everything I can on my end to ensure and expedite delivery at the most financially sensible rate on the market.
