Up for an auction is my babied 2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. It is in very good condition. It was driven by my wife to my daughter's daycare and to my wife's work mostly. I have never had any problems with this vehicle except one: the parking brake broke and the dealer wanted to much money, I thought, to get it fixed. I simply don't use the parking brake.
The only reason that I am selling this vehicle is that I bought a bigger boat recently and needed a new pick up truck as well to pull it with. I now mostly drive the pickup and have no need for an extra vehicle.
This vehicle is the most fun vehicle I've ever owned. The engine is incredibly strong with the supercharger. You have a feeling that it wants to escape from the engine bay and run on its own. Acceleration and passing on the highway are a lot of fun! The vehicle drives and handles as if it were on rails. The visibility out of the Range Rovers is superior to anything I have ever experienced. I don't think that it can be matched by any other brand.
I go skiing in the winter a lot and having the ability to switch to the snow mode (as well as sand, ruts and others) is very reassuring in the winter. You can lock the differentials, put the vehicle in 4X4 low, raise it by 3 inches and you are able to pull out of any snow emergencies. It would probably be the same with mud but I never tried it.
The vehicle has current inspection (never had any issues) and it even has a working fridge! (See pics)
