1991 Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this very nice 1991 Range Rover Hunter Edition. The truck looks great, runs great, and drives great. This Range Rover has been my person vehicle for the past year. I have put almost 700 miles on it and during that time it was totally reliable and a pleasure to own. I have known this truck for close to 15 years. It was purchased around 2000 by a close personal friend of mine and hardcore Land Rover enthusiast. It was kept in his garage next to his 1995 300Tdi D90 and diesel Defender 110 Hi-Capacity pickup. After about 12 years he sold this Range Rover to another friend of mine and I purchased it from him last year.
This Range Rover Hunter Edition is extremely rare being only one of 405 produced. It is truly a classic and should appreciate in value over time. The market on vintage 4x4s is on the rise and this very rare Range Rover is highly desirable. This Range Rover is well equipped with a 2' Old Man Emu lift, a 'Genuine' and original Great Divide Edition front bumper, and 235/85 Dunlop Radial Rover tires. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and information below to get a true sense of this Range Rover.

The Range Rover Hunter Edition is highly prized very desirable. It was a Range Rover that was meant to be used in the way a Land Rover is supposed to be. The Hunter Edition was produced without many of the 'On Road, ' luxury, and street features. It was a simpler and more reliable Range Rover. The Hunter Editions was made without Anti-Lock ABS brakes. They feature a cloth interior with manual seats instead of leather. The sway bars were removed on the Hunter as was the sunroof.

Exterior
The Eastnor Green exterior looks great overall. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a brilliant gloss, great shine, and smooth finish. We believe that the paint on this truck is all original and that it has never been in an accident. There are no paint lines, no overspray, and no evidence of other body or paint work. There are a few small dents other blemishes that are visible in the photos. The tailgate works, but does have the typical rust. The rockers and underside of the truck have some serious rust. The tires are in good condition and are sized 235/85R16, which is the perfect size for a Range Rover Classic with 2' of lift. The spare tire is also sized 235/85R16 and inside the truck in the rear storage area there is a custom spare mount for the oversized tire.
The Range Rover looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
Interior
The tan cloth interior of the Range Rover looks excellent. The seats are in great condition with no splits, tears, or excessive wear. Please note that these are the original cloth seats, not some cheap covers or replacements. The carpet is also in nice condition. The truck has had the factory fitted rubber mats for most of its life, which has kept the carpet in good shape. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. An awesome stereo system was professionally installed in this Range Rover and sounds and works excellent. A JVC head unit with single CD and Bluetooth was installed replacing the original stereo. The door panels look good. The headliner is in great condition with no sagging. The panel with the window switches is loose. There is a slight cigarette smell. The jack, jack handle, and accessories are still with the truck and pictured below. The magnificent condition of this original interior is a testament to the meticulous care and attention this truck has received throughout its life.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.


Mechanical

This Range Rover seems to be in good mechanical condition. It is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting though all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that it shifts well, runs great, there are no strange noises, and the truck performs quite nice overall. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs well. The transmission shifts well. The transfer case works and the truck goes into low range easily. There is a segment in the video below showing the low range operation. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. All of the interior and exterior lights work as do the wipers, horn, power windows, power locks, and all of the gauges. The a/c does not work and most likely needs to be recharged. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this Range Rover.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1991 Range Rover Hunter is in nice overall condition and is ready to be enjoyed. It is a great value and we have it priced to sell. Winter is around the corner and this Range Rover is unstoppable in the snow. The owners manual is included along with a lot of other original documentation. This truck turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The value of these types of vehicles has gone up in recent years. One could most likely enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
