I've done the following to it since I bought it. I did a transmission flush, new brakes, new drums, NEW FRONT SEATS (completely reupholstered), oil change, tire rotation and balance. Tires have phenomenal tread left on them, a few minor scratches on the bumper, the body is in GREAT shape! It has the upgraded grill and side vents. The car gets looks everywhere I go, and even for an 03' I get compliments on it. The interior is the CLEANEST you will find on any Rover. I searched long and hard for this vehicle! Like I said, hate to sell it, but I don't have a choice.
The car runs great, the engine is BMW so there won't be any issues there. Rovers are notorious for bad transmissions. I took this to my transmission guy, he said transmission was solid and he saw no problems. Three issues with the car are the actuators on the locks are bad, and the steering column doesn't periscope (an electrial issue). Neither have bothered me, so I haven't bothered to take it in.
