Regarded by many as the best off-road vehicle in the world Land Rover has a storied pedigree dating back to 1948 with the introduction of the original Land Rover Series I. Simply put it's the best four by four by far.This 1970 Land Rover Series IIA is nicely restored and was recently imported from the UK by myself. Very rare full cab configuration makes it the most interesting of the lot of vehicles on Ebay; desirable right-hand drive model with a rebuilt diesel four-cylinder engine and a four-speed manual gearbox makes it among the easiest to own and drive. Aluminum body is straight with good paint; bulkhead and steel frame are showing none of the corrosion issues that plague Land Rovers that remained in the damp U.K. Hard top is in excellent condition and is of course removable. Brand new mud terrain tires on refinished factory steel wheels. Interior is all business and the seats have been kept original for full functionality. This vehicle is rare because you find very few 109 wheelbase series 2a's for sale outside the UK with such low miles to boot. I have the full pedigree for the vehicle including a British heritage certificate including the exact date this vehicle was manufactured. | “This vehicle is freshly imported from the UK. This vehicle is in completely untampered conditioned. There has been restoration carried out on the vehicle. The chassis is completely original but has been restored to original condition. There are only small issues with the vehicle the E-brake isn't functioning at the moment and the turn signals arent working all which occurred during transport from the UK to the United States. Its probably a easy fix but I haven't the time to fix it. The seats have ware but not to bad. The vehicle overall has been restored and is show-room quality.” |
