2006 Lexus GS 300 RWD2006 Lexus GS 300 rear wheel drive. 80700 miles . I bought this car in January 2012 with 65000 miles. Always garage kept and maintained by local Lexus dealer mechanic shop.(McGrath Lexus of Chicago). All service history is available for the new buyer. Most recent service included engine oil change transmission fluid flush and change and wheel rotation at 80000. All four tires have over 80% of the tread left. They are Continental DWS and help the car handle very well in any conditions Chicago weather brings. Although the car was driven sporadically in the snow it was always washed afterwards. Overall condition of the exterior is very good . It has some rock chips and scratches normal for a car of this age. (See pic). Same thing could be said about the interior of the vehicle. Only one noticeable blemish is on the rearview mirror in form of a haze. It's a common problem with self dimming mirrors. I found a company that fixes it for 100$ plus shipping but it takes three weeks to get it done. Mechanically car is in great condition and it drives very well. One little annoying thing happens while driving at night and taking a series of sharp turns the AFS (adaptive frontlight system) gets stuck in left headlight. It is easy to reset it and not worth fixing it in my opinion because Lexus technician told me that I will have to replace the whole headlight. I'm sure there's an easy fix for this problem but I have no time to look into it. Despite being a six cylinder engine the car is good on gas, especially on long highway trips I recorded 34 mpg doing 75 mph .I'm trying to list all the things I know about the vehicle : the good and the bad, because I want the new owner to enjoy this car as much as I did.
