NEW FACTORY ENGINE w.3268mi on it: In Sept 2015 at 52624 miles, this car had a brand new Lexus factory built engine installed by Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly hills, at a cost of $18, 258.50, paid for by Lexus Corporate. (see photo of invoice) Reason was original owner (Not Us !!!) ignored scheduled new car engine maintainance and skipped several oil changes and drove excessive miles on old, low or no oil. Car was Somehow sold as a Lexus CPO vehicle with 30k miles in Dec 2010. We had more than required Lexus service done, all at Jim Falk Lexus. So when engine threw a rod at 52k miles which was 1200 miles after a full service at same dealer - we presented the Lexus in house service records to Lexus Corporate, and there was no debate. One phone call was all it took. As it stands now the NEW engine has 3268mi driven on it and one oil and filter chg done in Feb 2016 at 54140mi. which is 1516 mi driven on new engine before oil change. This car runs perfectly and has 4 new tires, new OEM brake pads and rotors, New Interstate battery, New OEM starter, full transmission and differential svc, Air conditioning svc and engine coolant flushed and replaced at time of new engine install. This IS350 Needs NOTHING and will provide many years of trouble free ownership.This fine example of the first year of this body style will out shine all others mechanically as well as cosmetically. Always garaged, Non-smoker, very lightly driven under our ownership, (we avg 4505mi/yr) and as expected all service is documented by Lexus own in house service records.. Never in any accidents, no dents or body work ever. This might be a 2006, but it is a pampered very low mileage 2006 with a brand new heart and soul with a 3yr 36k mi Lexus factory warrantee on the new engine, says so right on Lexus invoice. It comes equipped with the Lexus factory sport pkg and Mark Levinson Premium sound system with Navigation and back up camera. The car is not being driven anymore and being kept in the garage.
