We are pleased, though somewhat sad, to offer our families beautiful and very reliable 2004 Lexus RX330 Sport Utility Vehicle! We are the original and only owners, having purchased this car brand new from Lexus of North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) for $44, 650 in August 2013! We've lovingly used this car to commute to and from work, for family outings and vacations, to take our kids back and forth to soccer practice, friends houses and, later on, to take them to and from to their respective colleges. This car has always been adult driven and has mostly highway miles. The car currently has 221, 177 miles, though that may increase slightly as we still drive this occasionally. We will include all owners manuals and two master key FOBs.
This car has been incredibly reliable - one of the most reliable we've ever owned (and the reason we purchased another Lexus to replace this car). We've always followed the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule - almost always having the work performed by a Lexus dealership, especially the major maintenance items and any repairs that were needed. In terms of the vehicles overall condition, we've listed below the relevant details (see pictures as well).
Mechanically: The car is in perfect working condition. No warning lights, strange sounds or noises, no smells, no fluid leaks of any kind. All options work as they should - A/C, heater, power windows, locks, mirrors, heated power seats, radio - everything is functioning as it should.
Cosmetically: The car is starting to show it's age a little, but no more than expected for it being a 2004 model.
Exterior: There are scratches on every body panel - many though are slight and not very noticeable. Many can be buffed out I'm sure. On the front quarter panels there are a few chips from pebbles which are starting to rust a little. These are the size of a pea - very small but will need attention at some point. The weather stripping around the passenger rear door will need to be replaced at some point. It doesn't interfere with the door opening or closing but it is starting to come off around the edge of the door frame. Expect to replace this at some point in the near future. The passenger side rear-view mirror has started to lose it's ability to dim at night and the mirror now has an orange-ish tint or hue to it. The driver's side mirror is perfect. Also, the radio antenna extension (a small black piece) has come off and will need to be replaced as well. The radio, however, works very well and reception is good for all the radio stations in our area.
Interior: The leather seats are in excellent shape and show very little wear. There are no rips, tears or stains - they look very nice. The carpeting is stained in some areas but the stains are hardly noticeable. We purchased a set of brand new Lexus OEM mats for the car so they are in perfect condition - both front and rear. The trim on the doors has some marks and tears in a few spots. The wood trim is perfect and shines like a mirror. The dash is in perfect shape, as are all the windows. The rear trunk area of the car has a few marks. The rear comes with a cargo cover and carpeted mat as well as a first aid kit.
We have also taken the time to make sure that all service is up-to-date. The car has four new Continental ProContact tires, recent service and oil change performed by Haldeman Lexus in Princeton, NJ where they found NO issues with the car. Everything was working as it should (we have the dealer's service report). We've also had some major services performed recently. They are -
219, 853 miles - Lexus performed next scheduled maintenance including oil change, A/C cabin filter, engine air filter, rotated tires, inspected all vehicle components including tires and brakes, topped off all fluids, replaced wiper blades (front and rear) and replaced a side marker light. Cost for service - $358.46.
213, 400 miles - The check engine light and vehicle stability control lights came on and the Lexus dealer found a faulty ABS sensor in the right rear axle. The Lexus dealer replaced the right rear axle, sensor, etc. The cost for this repair was $1, 352.28. The dealership also - 1. Performed 5, 000 mile oil change, topped off all fluids - cost $75.00 2. Replaced the PCV valve - cost $70.14 3. Replaced all spark plugs - cost $333.30 4. Performed a 4-wheel alignment - cost $105.50
207, 762 miles - Lexus dealership replaced the
TIMING BELT
and
WATER PUMP
. Total cost - $1, 032.14. The dealership also performed the routine 5, 000 mile service. They changed the oil, rotated tires, topped off all fluids, etc. Cost $160.55.
189, 909 - Lexus dealership replaced power steering fluid. Cost - $139.98
We have most of the service records or all earlier maintenance and repairs. They will come with the car.
Accident - In the interest of full disclosure, we did have a minor accident (was not our fault) in November 2005. A truck driver backed into the front of our car. The incident was very minor and repairs were only cosmetic in nature. Total cost of the repairs came to $3, 900 - hood, headlight assembly, fender, some trim, front grill and front bumper. The parts used were all original Lexus OEM. We have all relevant records - body shop invoice, insurance estimate, police report, etc.

We are also happy to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle if you like (at buyer's cost), though the Lexus dealership did just do this for us.
We ask for a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal when the auction ends. The balance is to be paid within 5 days via cash or certified bank check only.

If you are travelling from outside of the NJ/PA area and wish to drive the car home, we can arrange to pick you up at the nearest airport. If the car needs to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs. We have no means of shipping the vehicle, though we're happy to drive it to a transport location near our home if the buyer is able to arrange for shipping.
