Description:
Survivor classic Lincoln Continental from the 1970s. Midnight blue --- looks black at dusk and night. Nice for golden hour drives in the summer. The interior and exterior are in good, not excellent, shape. It is a driver car, not a show car. Huge 460 cubic inch engine with Ford 4-barrel carb. I have had it for six years -- bought it here in eBay in 2010. The odometer says about 99000 miles but it is only five digits. So, actual mileage is subject to speculation. After being garage stored for the winter, it started right up in April and has been running well.

| “There are some scratches, blemishes, fades, dents and pits in the body but it is not bad for a nearly 40 year old car. The moonroof glass has some cracks. The moonroof cable mechanism does not permit full travel for opening. Most everything works...even the Cartier electric clock! Things recalled not to be working are rear window defroster circuit, the HVAC blower (mechanic looking into it) and the cigarette lighter. Front wheel bearings and AC compressor were replaced last year. There is an intermittent hot idle shut down issue with the carburetor that manifests sometimes after a higher speed run as when exiting a freeway. It could use a new exhaust. The fuel tank was replaced in 2014.” |
