1965 Lincoln Continental

Lincoln Continental (1965)
for sale

Price: US $500.00

Description:

Car has NO motor or transmission. Car has a bonded Texas title (Turns into a clear Title Feb 2017)
Car was only on the road/registered for 11 years. I have all the original registration receipts. It's a 2 owner car on paper, but it hasn't been driven since the original owners died and it was parked in a barn for decades. Original owners died in an auto accident, and the car was parked and forgotten about until a few years ago. It was sold to the owner previous to me who planned on restoring the car. It went to Dallas where a shop started working on it and he couldn't afford the work, so I bought the car from him. Car was 100% complete and original when I purchased it. It still is minus the drivetrain, which I sold (boat anchor). We planned on doing a 6.2 LS swap and bagging it, but we have too many projects so we're liquidating a few.
1965 Lincoln Continental
13, 000/113, 000 miles (Take your pick, I have no way of confirming either - original registration paperwork doesn't dictate mileage)
New battery
New battery cables
New starter solenoidNew brake master cylinder
Electric lock conversion solenoids (not installed)
Car has some rust, but it's nothing major. It's completely solid minus what's listed below Car is extremely straight, only a few small dents throughout. Doors open and close like it just rolled off the assembly line.
Rust areas include:-Rear passenger side quarter panel (I've already started the patch, and will include a full $200 lower patch piece)-A few small pinholes in front passenger door-Hole behind the rear driver door in the body channel below the pillar. This is the worst spot on the entire car-A few pinholes in the trunk-1-2 small spots around the rear window
Interior is in amazing shape for it's age. No rat carnage or poop. Seats are torn and dried out. Carpet is stained, but could be cleaned for a daily driver. Door panels and headliner are in near perfect condition.
We got it running before we pulled the drivetrain. All the interior/exterior lights work as seen in the pictures. I couldn't get the windows or locks to work (vacuum lines are probably toast).
Issues that I know about:-Ignition switch is bad -PO made a temporary filler neck. It is missing the factory neck.-Brakes need to be bled (no brakes currently)-Windshield is cracked (badly)
This car has a really cool story behind it. While it's technically a 2 owner car, the previous owner owned it just long enough to get all the paperwork in order. You just don't find them this complete for the price. Throw another drivetrain in it, or do a modern swap and you would have an extremely unique car.
