1965 Lincoln
Up for sale is my classic 1965 Lincoln Continental sedan. Just a few of these suicide-door Lincoln beauties were produced each year during the 60’s and they are only getting harder and harder to find. I am the third registered owner of this one and it has always been cared for and rarely driven. It has a rebuilt power-train with absolutely no mechanical issues or oil leaks of any kind (Lincoln’s of this era are notorious for power steering leaks). Engine rebuild warranty invoice included for almost $8k. As you can see from the pictures it's very straight, doors open and close perfect, and everything lines up nice. Clean CA title in hand registered under my name with current tags until Jan 2016.
The car has a 430 engine with a 4v carburetor and a 3-speed automatic transmission. It starts right up and is very reliable, that car can be driven anywhere without hesitation. I was assured by the previous owner that the mileage is correct and the car has just over 34k original miles. The invoice for the engine rebuild says it was done at almost 32k miles so it has just over 2k miles since the rebuild. The car has lots of power and picks up fairly quick for such a large car (320hp / 465 lb-ft). The suspension, power steering, and power brakes all work excellent and the car feels safe at any speed. It has factory 15” wheels and hubcaps with a brand new set of whitewall tires ($1200). No squeaks or rattles anywhere and the power-train runs very quite like a Lincoln should. The interior was done earlier this year and it included new seat upholstery, headliner, interior carpet, trunk carpet, and custom tire cover. It has a killer sound system that’s made to hook up with your iPod, Smartphone, etc. There’s a set of Kicker sub speaker 6x9”s in rear with a custom made housing box, two 6.5” in the kick panels, and a four channel amp underneath the seat that has an AUX hookup for your device. The car was painted in 2006 by the previous family and still looks pretty good. There are just a couple minor paint nicks and scratches from average use over the years. Car appears to have all original sheet metal and there are no signs of it ever being in an accident. Original glass all around in excellent shape as well. All the exterior chrome and stainless trim is original to the car and looks nice. The electrical system is in excellent shape and everything works just as it should including exterior lights, all the dash gauges, turn signals, wipers, power windows, heater system, power seat, power antenna, and horn.
This beauty turns heads and gets thumbs up ever time it’s out on the road. If you don't like being the center of attention when you're driving around then this car is not for you. It's available for inspection by any bidder during the course of this auction. Feel free to send me a message with your phone number and I will call you to set up an appointment. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. This is a NO RESERVE listing so the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing and good luck! =)
