This car represents one of 2, 044 examples that were made available in 1960. This unique car rides super smooth and is definitely a head turner going down the road! Showing only 78, 943 miles on its odometer and ready to enjoy immediately!
The 1958-1960 Lincoln Continental continues to rank among the largest post-war American cars ever produced. They were also one of the most comfortable, powerful, and stylish luxury cars of that era.  That statement can still be said today and most certainly years to come.  This Continental rides on its proper white wall tires, has the power operated convertible top, and is likely one of fewer than 500 remaining of the 2, 044 that were produced in 1960.
We are excited to offer this very original 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Convertible that is finished in a Crystal Blue with Blue interior.  This original 430ci V8 produces 315 horsepower to propel this car through a Twin-Range Turbo-Drive Automatic transmission.  Additional features include coil-spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, power steering, and four wheel power-assisted hydraulic drum brakes.  It comes well equipped with air conditioning, power windows including rear breezeway, power convertible top, power seat, Town& Country push button radio, wide whitewall tires, full wheel disc covers, fender skirts, and dual outside mirrors.
This cosmetically restored example was largely original when it arrived to our showroom and recently received a completely rebuilt air conditioning system to include new compressor, rebuilt receiver dryer with barrel sight glass, custom fitted lines, and R134a retrofit with new refrigerant, fresh engine oil & filter, new fuel pump and filter, all new exhaust system with new mufflers, brand new hydraulic shocks, rebuilt window switches, and a very recently serviced transmission with new filter & fluid.
This beautiful car came from a classic car collection in Orlando, FL and appears to received a repaint and new interior at one time in the past. It remains a low mile, easy riding, rare Mark V that will suit any Continental collector, large car enthusiast, or anyone who enjoys a comfortable touring car.
