1979 Lincoln Mark Series

Lincoln Mark Series (1979)
for sale

Price: US $8,500.00

Description:

This truly is a pristine low mileage survivor. I am the second owner of this beautiful classic car that always seems to turn heads. There are very few of these cars still in existence with under 35, 000 original miles, that are actually registered, insured, regularly driven in the summer months, and are this original, and this nice. I store this car for the winter months, May 22 - was back on the road.
This car was manufactured in February 1979 and purchased by the original owner for $14, 500 on March 16, 1979. I purchased this car on April 30, 2012 from the original owner with 23, 817 miles on it. As of this listing, it now has 33, 015 miles on it, and is being driven by me.
Similar cars have sold in the $20, 000 range, but in all honesty, I don't expect to achieve that in my local Massachusetts marketplace. Therefore, I am placing this on the ebay auctions in order to attract a serious buyer who understands the actual cash value of this car. I am offering this car with no reserve at a starting price of only $8, 500 - a price that I consider to be below current dealer wholesale value. Happy bidding!

During this auction, I will not accept private offers. All bids must be placed through ebay. A $500 PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours for the winning bid to be honored. Balance in cash or cashier's check only. I will not ship this car - transportation is your responsibility.

“Although this car is close to perfect, and mostly all original, there are a few minor things to point out, making this car a 9 instead of a 10. Body and Paint; The paint is in great condition overall, and is the original paint. At the bottom of the fenders (underneath) some paint has chipped away, though not readily visible unless you're on all fours. The passenger door has some tiny dings from being parked in a garage to close to a busy driver's door on a mini van - though you can only see them under certain light/angles. Interior; The plastic (simulated wood-grain) in the steering wheel is chipped on the left side. Mechanical; Fuel gauge and Cartier clock not working. Otherwise, PRISTINE.”
