Up for sale is an EXTREMELY RARE 1984 Lincoln Mark VII. The reason it is so rare is it has a factory installed BMW Turbo Diesel Engine! Unfortunately the engine does not run. I purchased the vehicle sight unseen a year ago as a project car and had it shipped to NY from North Carolina. I have too many projects and now I'm in the process of building a home, so I won't have time to mess with it. Last night was the first time I did anything with the car since it came off the car trailer last spring. With a fresh battery it spins over but will not run, it seems like it's not getting fuel. Interior is decent for a 31 year old car, headliner is gone and will need to be replaced. The vehicle is 100% rust free and has never seen salt. You will not find a cleaner body than this one. Look at the pictures. No Rot, No Rust anywhere on body panels or underside. This is an excellent candidate for a restoration project, a nice cruiser that will sip fuel. This engine should get around 30 MPG. You can also run vegetable oil or bio diesel to save even more on fuel costs. Car has 4 brand new tires and nice 15 aluminum wire wheels. As this vehicle is not running, it is sold AS-IS, with no warranties of any kind either expressed or implied. I welcome and encourage a PRE purchase inspection.
