I am selling this car for a friend and it is in unbelievably condition. He has had the car approx. 17 plus years and has labored on it to make it the awesome machine it is now. He purchased it at a semi annual show and swap meet approximately a 4 hour drive from here. He purchased it from a Dr and drove it here with no problems. It has full maintenance and restoration records dating back over 19 years. However once he got it home as he does with any and all of his cars he went through it from one end to the other. To Hugh it is a labor of love and he puts his heart and soul in every car that he has. The car had a $3000 plus repaint of its original Ginger Bronze paint before he bought it and it has been garaged ever since. The paint is beautiful and looks better than new. The sides smooth as silk and look unbelievable. The shine is fantastic and is show quality. We believe the vinyl top was replaced at the same time and still looks new. The interior is all original except for an exact factory replacement of the front seat leather The headliner looks great as does the carpet. It has custom sewn floor mats. The instrumentation is fantastic and it has all the features a Lincoln should have including a working Cartier Clock. It has its original AM/FM radio All power options work as they should. The a/c has a new compressor but needs a recharge to work. The hideaway headlites work fine but do leak down when the engine is off. The car has Michelin tires with plenty of tread and the factory original wire hub caps look fantastic. This car is truly a work of art and a labor of love for my friend. Once he got the car he embarked on a 3 or 4 year journey of going from on end to the other refurbing and rebuilding whatever was needed. The 460 motor was pulled from the car and broken down by a local engine builder and rebuilt to factory specs. It has 365 HP and over 500 Ft Lbs of torque. Over $2000 was spent on the motor not including the pulling and replacing of it. While the engine was out Hugh repainted rebuilt a lot of the components of the car to freshen them up. The car comes with a ton of maintenance manuals and the original build sheet and a huge amount of paperwork to support the work down to the car. The buyer will also get a DVD showing the work that Hugh did to the car. It is amazing to see and hear and watch as he worked on the car. You can appreciate how much love and care he put in to the car as he worked on it. You cant pay someone to do the type of work that he did. Since he finished the car approx. 10 years ago he has kept it garaged and has driven it and enjoyed it. The car has no accident history. It looks and runs and drives like a new Lincoln. These cars are getting very hard to find and one in this condition is very very rare. Don't let it get away. He is selling off a few of the cars that he has rebuilt over the years as he is getting older and wants to relax and not have to keep them up.
