You are bidding on my personal 1997 Lincoln Limousine. This is a no - reserve auction as I am getting a new car - and have no need for this limo.
Want to have fun on the cheap, are you a church in need of a bigger vehicle - or, better yet, want to start a limousine service but have limited funds? This is your limo.
I own a professional classic car restoration facility (private collection) and bought this limo several years ago from a private owner also. We both use the limo for occasional trips into the city or birthday parties for the children. Our painters applied a very high quality paint job to this limo - our cost was $8k (would be twice that if I didn't own a restoration facility). The body is dead straight and the paint is far better than factory. See the pics.
She has 129, 130 miles - and runs beautifully. Since our ownership we've replaced the brakes and rotors, services the air conditioning and replaced the alternator. We replaced one of the two batteries (one is located in the trunk).
This is a xx limo and seats 10 people. I believe it's a 102 conversion. I am no expert on limo's however.
The limo doesn't smoke, tranny doesn't slip, brakes work fine and she tracks true. You can get in her and drive, she is very dependable.
The interior is in excellent condition, the rear stereo works great, the divider window goes up and down and the interior lights dim. There are some stone aged televisions in the back - I wasn't in the car enough to replace them. One is VCR compatible (time to ransack your closets for tapes - heck I'll find my old Ferris Bueller tape and include it). There are several ice cubbies, plenty of cop holders and an inoperable telephone to the chauffeur (might be an easy fix, it buzzes him but he can't hear me).
The rims are in excellent condition, the tires are near new. We added new caps to the rims - so they are new.
Of course, the car is a 1997 Lincoln, so don't expect complete perfection, she is old, but trusty. And, this is a no reserve auction. If she bids to $500 - she will be sold, regardless. As I said, new car coming.
Also, due to the age, she is being sold as-is, where is. There is no warranty implied or inferred. I have no doubt that she is dependable and will be so for a long time, but I cannot warranty a car this old you understand. We ask for a $500 deposit via paypal. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction, no excuses. I report non paying bidders.
