Well it's finally time to get rid of one of our old money makers! It has seen better days, but is still dependable and gets booked quite often at $120 per hour. We have bought 4 other limos that were newer to replace this one and ended up selling all of those because this was nicer and the layout is the best that we have found out there. This thing really can seat 14 people in the back!! Here's the details!!
1997 Lincoln Town Car Limo with 180 stretch.
It has the fifth door which is awesome!
The exhaust is a little loud and could use probably two new straight pipes.
There is rust on the fifth door and lots of rust underneath. We put new A frames, front shocks, tie rods, rotors and brakes on the front end. Has four 6 ply tires. I just noticed that the front two are really bad and need to be replaced. The stainless steel panel on the right side bottom has about a five foot scratch down the side. The roof is pretty good, it's starting to peel up by the fifth door and has a few small cracks throughout. It really needs a good cleaning. We used Bleche White on it before and it looked great. We also spent a lot of money on the ac system. This car cools great front and back after doing that. We even had a sight glass installed under the hood so you can see if it is low on freon. And added two extra fans. We added extra brake lights on the back and changed all the opera lights to led lights too! We also added more led lights inside and color changing bulbs. It has the mirrored ceiling with the star gazer lights. It also has a $2, 000 stereo system that really makes some noise!! It has two alternators that have also be replaced. The rear end has big limo heavy duty springs under it. So no worry about the air suspension and it will hold a load nicely. We also replaced the blend door in the dash so it actually changes from hot to cold on the temperature with no problems.
This is the second unit we added in our limo fleet of many units and was always the most popular and my favorite one to drive. It is a beast and car limos this long are kind of rare. This thing is 34 feet long!!!!
This limo does have a rebuilt title, because when they stretched it in California, they salvaged the car because it was six months old and cut in half. They have strict laws in California. It has never been wrecked or in a flood. We have several people thinking about buying it and putting a kit on it like a Rolls Royce or Bentley which would both be perfect for this body style.
