They do not go up and downPassenger seat button doesn't work real well, it has been pushed down through the housing, Generally speaking it is a GREAT riding Luxury car. You can't get a better ride, and it is a large safe vehicle with a huge trunk. Comes with original manual, and tire jack. You won't disappointed in this car. It is very dependable and has many miles and alot of life left in it.
