I am the third owner of this vehicle. I have never smoked in this car and was told by the previous owners that they had not smoked in it as well. I have always kept this car in a heated garage and had the oil changed every 2500 to 3000 miles. As the Ford/Lincoln brands see fit NOT to put grease zerks on any part of the front end of their vehicles, I had the whole front end replaced, including ball joints, bearings, inner and outer tie-rod ends, upper control arms, tie rod adjusting sleeves and idler and pitman arm assemblies. The front suspension and steering were rebuilt and the wheel bearings were replaced and packed, ending with front end alignment in 2013. I also replaced the heating core in 2014 by a Ford dealer, who ended up scratching the plastic molding around the steering column next to the dash (See pics). I also had a higher end stereo dealer hard wire an accessory wire for a satellite radio into the sound system, instead of relying on the FM transmitter. This brings the sound in perfectly and you never lose the signal going through highly populated cities with lots of radio stations. Just push the CD button to listen to the satellite radio. You can also use this wire to connect an MP3 player or other devices as well. This is a great running car, smooth and quiet and has never been abused. I am selling it because I live in the country and need a pickup for most of the chores for upkeep of my property. The car is for sale as a local pick up only.
