2003 Lincoln Town Car
Hey fellas, selling my 2003 Lincoln Town Car which has only had 1 other owner besides me. I bought the car from a Fleet travel service, and then used the car myself in a travel business. The car has 350, 000 miles on the odometer, however 3 years ago I replaced the motor. The new motor has approximately 150, 000 miles on it, it came from a 2009 town car that was totaled in snow wreck in Seattle. The majority of the miles on the car are highway miles. This car has had its oiled changed roughly every 45-60 days, and fleet operators take care of their cars better than anyone else because their car is their livelihood. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE MILES. This car is in better condition than most new cars towards the end of their leases.
Engine/motor Condition: The car runs well. I recently replaced the water pump, thermostat and serpentine belt, as well as the battery. I've had diagnostics run on the car which specify that the engine is in very good condition and have the paperwork to back that up.
Tires/Wheels/Suspension: I replaced all 4 tires in the spring with new tires and had the alignment done. I have receipts for all of this work. Replaced the air suspension about 4 years ago, it feels like you are in a boat (in a good way), and rides like only a luxury livery car can ride.
Interior: The interior is in good condition with no major damage to the leather. There is normal wear and tear on the driver seat leather, however only cosmetic. The rear seats are in pristine condition. The wood grain is scratch free. The steering wheel leather is pealing in a few places but this is normal for a car with natural leather. Window tint is still in good condition. The only defect in the car is a small issue with the center console lid, it is supposed to open from both sides, but only opens from one. A handy individual can most likely fix this in an hour if they really wanted to.
Dash/Sound System: Every light and feature on the dash/hud works like it did the day this car rolled off the line. Additionally climate control and exterior temp works perfectly, and the oil life/compass is finely tuned. The sound system includes a AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Cassette Deck that works perfectly through a stock Bose sound system that sounds great. There is an additional 6 Disk CD changer in the trunk, but I never used it so I am not sure of the condition.
Cosmetic/Body/Paint: There is no current major damage to the car. I replaced the front bumper a few years ago and the dumb dumbs at the body shop painted the bumper without priming it so the paint is chipping off. Also, the few times I let my wife drive it around, she scrapped the garage wall slightly, however there is no deep scratches. The paint itself is in decent condition, there is some hard water in various spots around the car, but thankfully the car is black and as long as kept clean looks nice. There are no dents or large scratches anywhere (except front bumper).
About 5 years ago, I was rear ended on the freeway by a lady texting behind me in stop and go traffic going about 20 miles per hour. She wrecked the trunk and rear bumper but no frame damage, and I had the car title declared rebuilt because it was the most economical thing to do at the time.
A year ago I bought a small inflatable zodiac boat and had a towing hitch installed on the car to tow the boat around. This feature is still on the car, and the car comes with the ball and hitch.
Give me a call or drop me a line if you are interested in the car. I am open to negotiate but please do not waste my time. If you ask me what the lowest I am willing sell my car is, I will ask you what the most you are willing to pay for it is. This car will run for as long as it is cared for. My family members that are still in the business have cars that run like new with over 500k miles on them. And remember, the motor has less than half of what the odometer shows.
SHORT VERSION: Overall the car is in good condition with minor wear outside and in, with a newer engine that was replaced a few years ago that has about 150k miles on it. Car was maintained by a pro, and runs like a champ. You won't find a cleaner car for the price.
