This car has a rebuilt title. That means it was damaged, bought by the insurance company, and rebuilt to original specs. It is stated to have had four owners; that would be in order the ORIGINAL BUYER, the INSURANCE COMPANY, the AUCTION YARD, and ME. If that troubles you then this isn't the car for you. If you would like to save over $10, 000.00 then read on. This car was in Alaska where it killed Bambi and mother. Sad but true. The owner thought better of driving again in Alaska and his Lawyer convinced the Insurance company to total the car. I would not drive this or any fragile car like it anywhere in Alaska. Luck has it that it didn't hit a Moose. I have full photo documentation of the damage. Only cosmetic damage was done, NOTHING structural. Glass and front clam were the main areas of impact. Pics on request and state of Nevada vehicle inspection clearance certificate. This car has almost every Lotus option available: The SC is the rare top of the line factory supercharged 220hp Elise. Touring pack-Leather seats, electric windows, sound insulation, full carpets, top end radio/CD. Also the premium option consisting of a cup holder and cargo net! Sport Pack consisting of-wider 7-spoke light weight forged alloy rims, Yokohama A048 tires, dual oil coolers, stiffer springs (originally, but upgraded, read on). In addition Lotus traction control and clear bra paint protection (Star Shield) were ordered as optional equipment. I added NITRON (top English brand) alloy body gas pressurized mono-tube coilovers which are adjustable for preload and dampening. The front sway bar has been upgraded to the yellow Lotus Factory adjustable bar with 5 positions. Also there are AP RACING 4-POT front calipers. These are Lotus ORIGINAL SPEC for SERIOUS RACE/SPORT applications. The rear wing is from the Exige and the deck has aluminum plate reinforcement to hold it properly. A front fiberglass splitter also serves to protect the fragile front edge. There is a dry cell battery, K&N cold air intake system, and a CHAMBERED stainless steel exhaust. The sound will not change as with fiberglass filler mufflers. There are also larger front (light weight) rotors (308mm vs 288mm) that are fade proof and look great! Stainless steel flex brake lines were also installed with the AP calipers.The AP brakes and rotors, Nitron coilovers, and sway bar and other features cost well over $9, 000.00 installed. All body repair was done with proper EPOXY resin. The front turn signals were covered over with alloy plates, painted, and moved to behind the grill. Everything operates properly.
