Description:

1974 lotus elite (RARE, they only made 2500 of these!)- a driving project car- with current california registration and title in hand- not in collectible condition, but drives- shows a lot of patina - fiberglass body- original 4 cyc engine w/ dual carbs - 5 speed stick shift- shows 18617 on odometer , but i believe it is 118617- rear seats / rear interior , and carpet is missing - front seats show rips- gauges work, except speedometer- carbs were recently rebuilt- dual exhaust sounds great- has good power- shows little dark smoke at startup from exhaust (my mechanic said the valve seals are a little worn)- but i have been driving this way for a while and hasn't got worse- original brown paint that shows wear- new fuel cell was added in trunk to bypass original tank that has some rust inside- shifter knob is loose and may need repair before daily driven (plastic ball at base of shifter has worn/ so its hard to get into correct gear, but does stays in gear) - headlights don't pop up anymore- headlights are wired to foglights mounted on front bumber (very bright and as effective as pop up lights)- cd player that is mounted to side of center console is not included- fast and lightweight car- gets attention
