I am listing this car for a friend here in Savannah. I have personally owned 2 Lotus Esprit’s so I can give you a real assessment of the car.
The car runs and drives extremely well. The lights all function and the air conditioning does work very well. The car does not run hot and all of the cooling fans work. The car does have a failing float on the coolant reservoir and sometimes the low coolant light comes on and it is not low. The interior is like brand new. The front wings have few minor cracks in the paint which is typical of fiberglass cars. The front bumper has a few rock chips and a minor scratch in the clear coat.
He purchased the car 1 ½ years ago from a Lotus Dealer. He was told that the car had a fresh belt service. I looked through the owner’s manual and I found the repair shop stamp and list of the jobs performed (see photo). The car does include both the Solid and Glass Tops.
