THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this nearly 20 year-old Lotus is in excellent to superb 99.99% rust-free condition overall with deep and lustrous black paint finish, nice original trim and polished finish original alloy wheels with excellent rubber. There are just a few very minor cosmetic imperfections including rock chips, negligible scratches and discoloration.
THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this car is also in superb condition throughout. The lights, blinkers, horn and all other gages and controls function as they should.. There is some light wear and tear specifically on the left side bolster of the drivers seat.
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1997 Lotus starts perfectly, runs beautifully with excellent acceleration, beautiful exhaust note, crisp shifting transmission and nicely balanced, super grippy and tossable mid-engined handling. It is quite an attention-garnering experience piloting this Espirit!
