Description:
A nice, stock survivor. Fiberglass is good shape; paint good but not perfect due to some fading on the rear spoiler. Both headlight motors replaced with GM sourced motors (Buick) used on original cars. Interior in good shape; no tears and minimum wear on leather; all gauges work; JVC stereo/CD player with proper retracting antenna is good shape; headliner good; non-smoker current owner. Original running gear with improved gearbox from Lotus installed on all 1989 cars. Dealer serviced near Princeton, NJ. Turbo works normally. No intercooler on this rare model so no intercooler problems. Good, period correct, BF Goodrich tires; original, stock Lotus wheels in good condition.
The car drives and hands very well. Turbo kicks in on cue and its fun car to drive. Clean car.
RESPONSE TO AutoCheck-
The AutoCheck mentions a 2003 lien in Pennsylvania which was probably the result of a loan to buy the car by the owner in 2003. Subsequently, the car was sold and registered outside Pennsylvania. I bought the car in 2012, titled it again in Pennsylvania and have a clean Pennsylvania title. In Pennsylvania, liens are printed on the title and my title have no liens. The title is clean, no liens.
