Featured in Liquid Blue Metallic which only 5 were sold in that color for 2008, this roadster has 9, 019 original miles, has never seen a race track, and has been well maintained, serviced and garage stored its entire life.
Exterior. The original body and Liquid Blue paint is in excellent condition with one minor blemish located under the the rear wing and can be seen in the photos. The Lotus received our signature detail and the optional StarShield protection film is still in place on front and back of vehicle protecting from any rock chips. The factory Matte black sport wheels are wrapped in Super Sticky and recently installed Yokohama Advan A048 tires and show no curb rash.
Interior. This Roadster features the factory leather manually adjusted seats that show very minimal wear and is a perfect example of how meticulously maintained and cared for this car is. Lotus designed the Exige S240 to be the ultimate track purpose street car, but this particular example was ordered with the Touring Pack which offers sound insulation, upgraded stereo and leather seats. The car also features the Factory installed harness bar that comes included in the Track Pack. A rearview camera blends in very well and was professionally installed to aid with the limited rear visibility.
Performance. The S240 features a 240Hp Supercharged, intercooled 1.8L 2ZZ-GE engine which is completely original with no modifications, and is mated to the close ratio 6-speed gearbox. Records show all regular maintenance services being done throughout its life. The engine and transmission have no signs of any leaks and car runs and drives smoothly.
This very well kept, rare Exige comes with all original books, Lotus Literature, 2 sets of keys, factory tool kit, and clean carfax. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 Days of the close of the auction.
