I am selling my Lotus Elan M100. This is a rare collectible with roughly 539 built for the US market in 1991. In its day it was rated as one of the best FWD handling sports cars. This is my third M100. It is driven weekly and garaged kept. It can be driven as a daily driver or as a weekend cruiser. It is very presentable and even won a couple of trophies at local British car shows. The turbo is very strong. All lights and windows work. Brakes have plenty of life left. Clutch and gears are smooth. The car is mostly stock with the exception of a recent paint job (3 months ago), aftermarket muffler, and rim/tire upgrade. The seats are original and show some wear but are still presentable. I have owned it for 1.5 years. If you are local I encourage you to come see it in person and take it for a spin. It recently received the following:
Synthetic oil and K&N oil filter (last month)
Ignition module
Coil packs
17' Team Dynamic racing rims (I have a fifth rim as an extra with no rubber)
Air filter conversion (I have the stock air box which can easily be switched back) New MSD plugs
New radio
Custom Lotus hood liner
Lotus floor mats
Short shifter (I have the original shifter)
Car was recently painted with original color (three months ago)
Aftermarket muffler
All lights are fixed and in working order
Front lip spoiler Older Lotus Elise steering wheel (needs to be installed)
I have a bin with extra parts that goes with the car as I have no time to replace. To be completely transparent, it is a driver, very presentable, but not perfect. It needs a little more TLC to get it to the next level. Here are a few items that I wanted to address but will leave it up to the new owner:
I recently cracked the left side mirror. It stays in position but would need to be replaced
Could use A and B pillar seals
AC needs to be charged
Top is in good shape but has a small crack in the plastic window which is about an inch long
The turbo, battery, and oil pressure gauge/cluster is not working (could be fuse related)
