What I like best about this car is the automated manual transmission (MC Shift). It just sounds magical, with the automated throttle blip on downshifts, and Sport mode selected (so that the exhaust note is louder and sweeter), that Ferrari V8 just sings. Even at only 3, 000 rpm, it sounds like a race car. This was the last year for the automated manual transaxle, mounted at the rear. After 2009 they went to a regular automatic slushbox mounted up front, like a Chevy. You can drive in auto mode, paddle shift mode, or MC mode (faster shifts.) The Skyhook adaptive suspension makes the car feel very sure-footed, and it feels much lighter and quicker than its 4400 lbs would make you expect. It's comfortable, quiet in auto mode, easy to drive, and very quick. It is a very nice touring car. I've driven down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to Carmel. Lovely. Alcantara and interesting blue trim inside, nicely integrated XM radio and radar detector. There is a small curb rash on the RF wheel. I've owned it for nearly 4 years, but only driven it occasionally. About 2, 700 miles, only about 100 in the last year. Nice car, time for someone else to enjoy it.
