To all those who were asking about what the title calls the car,
The owner just dropped the title off and it says
License number CV81556 then the Vin# it states the year 1954 Make KITV ( whatever that is ) Series/body Maserati
It also states
Brands
WA 20090921 Classic
WA 20090921 Replica
Nowhere on the document does it state year of build,
So according to the state of Washington it is a 1954 and therefore any state that it goes to it is officially a 1954 car
That is better than I thought
that is good news

On Sep-04-15 at 10:29:34 PDT, seller added the following information: A little more history.
I built this car for a locale customer, and it saw little use, it mostly just sat, in carpeted and heated museum between a 67 Ferrari 275 4 cam GTB and a 58 BMW 507 as you might guess, this customer was a stickler for detail, so this car received some very nice upgrades, including, Lucas Tri Bar headlights, also the knockoffs have one of a kind set of Maserati Trident emblems on them. Also I had the gauge faces all silk screened with Maserati Tridents as well. All of the cars have vintage type aircraft seat-belts (4 point, ) The motor is dressed the part, with finned black wrinkle rocker covers ( cast aluminum ) a custom made low profile oil pan, Mallory dual point distributor, and as mentioned before custom made stainless headers and side pipes, This is a completely hand made car, every little bracket is hand made, look at the detail in the photos. It very much looks and feels like a vintage race car, it fools most people that see it, even serious car guys, I took one to Monterrey historic's races years ago and parked it in the Maserati coral, it looks like it, it weighs the same 1600lbs but it has 100 extra HP and of coarse disc brakes instead of drums
And you will be very pleased by how good it sounds, turn the key to energize the fuel pump and ignition and push the starter button and Braoom, it will put a smile on any ones face.
This is a purpose built, very high performance car, it is not for the faint of heart, its all show and especially GO
All of the cars have been selling ( used ) in the $65K range, but they all have had much more use than this one, so with all the custom details of this car, besides the fact it is practically still a new car, makes this a very good deal.
I only wish I could afford to buy it and keep it, as I doubt I will ever be able to afford to build one for myself, ( and probably the current build cost would be around $50-60K just for parts and paint and such. )
I highly recommend going to barchetta3500.com for more detail and photos
