I am selling my Mazda 626 LX. I bought the car used in 2003 with 43, 000 miles on it. It had a rebuilt Ford transmission when I got it. I bought it from a Mazda dealership in Arlington, Virginia.
The car has served me well. It has had no major accidents, just two minor fender benders where both fenders have been fixed.
The car has taken me from the DC area to Seattle to Cleveland to New Orleans back to Cleveland to DC to Los Angeles and finally the Bay Area. I had the car in Cleveland for about 4.5 years, so there is some rust damage. However, the rusting pretty much stopped after I left Cleveland in 2010.
I keep meticulous records and have records of all of the previous mechanical work. Other repairs I have made include replacing the front wheel bearings and catalytic convertor. With the rust from Cleveland, I have replaced the muffler and exhaust pipes. I have done some minor maintenance myself such as replacing the bulbs on the dashboard and other minor repairs. The reason I am listing it for $1750 is that I just replaced the AC last year. The tires are less than 1 year old, and I also added a $150 HD Sony radio.
