I have a 2012 Mazda 3 that is claimed a total loss by the insurance company. The value of the vehicle would be around 11, 700 in good condition according to KBB. I don't know a lot about body work but from research and experienced mechanics the damage and cost to fix the vehicle should have not deemed the car a total loss.
Details:
34, 000 miles on the 2.0 SKYACTIV-G engine which runs perfectly with no damage.
Interior is very clean. Only defect is deployed airbags.
All damage is front passenger side of vehicle.
I am still able to drive the car, steer, and brake but the fender rubs the tire.
Like I said I don't know much as towards the cost of repairing the vehicle to driving condition but if you're experienced or have any suggestion please feel free to email, text, or call (please leave message) if you'd like to see in person.
