Offered is a 2011 Mazda 6 4D I Touring, 2.5L DOHC 16-valve I4. This Mazda has 44, 962 miles and is being sold, AS IS with NO RESERVE so we do not have to re-list. We hold clear title. This Mazda is being auctioned by the Woodridge Illinois Police Department. The history of this vehicle is unknown as it was seized following a pursuit that occurred on July 24th, 2014 and involved the Mazda being driven in and out of a ditch. Following the arrest, the Mazda was stored in a warehouse until it was awarded to us on March 19th, 2015 by court order and we hold clear title. The Mazda is in need of repair/service.
We will attempt to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability and you may inspect the vehicle, in person, by appointment.
The body has scratches, scuff marks, dents and other blemishes. The front and front passenger-side have the most damage. The outside passenger-side mirror is missing, the front passenger-side door does not fully open or close fully. See photos.
The interior is dirty and smells of tobacco smoke. See photos.
Prior to listing, the Mazda had to be jump started and then remained running. It would occasionally stall if left idling for a long period of time. There are dashboard warning lights on. During a brief test-drive, there is a rubbing noise when turning and the steering wheel does not return to the straight position by itself. There is most likely damage to the power steering. When the Mazda is driven straight, the steering wheel is canted slightly. There may be other issues with this vehicle. It is suggested that the buyer have this Mazda inspected/serviced by a qualified mechanic before use. See photos.
The NADA listed value for this 2011 Mazda 6 - 4Cyl is $9, 600 for “Rough Trade-In”, $10, 750 for Average Trade-In” and $11, 675 for Clean Trade-In”. We would put this vehicle is in below “rough condition” due to the visible issues and the possibility of other issues. It is always recommended that you inspect the vehicle and make your own assessments before bidding.
