1995 Red MX-5 owned by two neighbors since new. 45, 600 original miles. NEVER driven in winter, never seen snow or salt. Have original sales records from Rockford Illinois dealer. Sold to his young neighbor who babied it until September of 2014. This car has lived in a heated garage its entire life. It drives and handles like new, and is an diamond in the rough. It looks like a downsized version of the old Porsche 944 and handles incredibly well. The rockers, trunk, engine bay, are all clean and rust free.
Recent tune up, brand new tires, new exhaust, synthetic oil since new. Just changed. Less than 100 miles on premium tires. Never smoked in.
Paint is excellent all around. Almost perfect, there are a couple tiny blemishes that are almost impossible to see due to the depth of the paint. They were touched up by the previous owner. This was a favorite car by all reviewers in 1995 and is one of the nicest handling cars I have ever driven. It gets 37 mpg on the highway and 28 around town. It offers a rare combination of economy and performance that is rare. It is a great looking body style and the best quality car for the money I have ever owned. I am resisting it do to a withdrawn offer by someone who allegedly bid the wrong amount.
Look it up and read the reviews, they are consistently positive and nearly always 5 stars. I would enclose links but eBay no longer allows it.

It's unusual body style was coveted in Europe and it sold in much bigger volumes there because people LOVE hatchbacks.
