1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Mazda MX-5 Miata (1991)
for sale

Price: US $2,500.00

Description:

Here for sale is my 1991 Mazda Miata based off the WWII fighter know as the P40 Warhawk. This is a very reliable vehicle which has been my daily driver for the past year. I've driven it from Kansas to Maine and back twice as well as the top of Mt. Washington and even Colorado. This is a very fun car to drive and to be seen in as you can probably imagine. The engine runs strong but does require a little oil between oil changes. The transmission shifts well, the manual steering is tight, brakes work well, and there's no extra play in the suspension. The only thing which would be worth addressing is when braking there is a slight pop coming from the passenger front corner which iI suspect is a ball joint or stabilizer link. I would not hesitate to drive this cross country again.
Within the last year
-Shifter rebuilt with brass bushing and new dust boots for the trans and body
-Top was replaced, custom plaid door pannels, and french seamed leather shift boot, the seats are tired and definitely could use some work
-Has tall man modification (I'm 6'3) including door handle deletes, e-brake handle spaced, and steering wheel (not a foamerectomy sadly)
-Momo steering wheel with Momo hub
-Homemade cold air intake which gives it a little growl while under load
-Valve Cover painted to match the engine bay with OEM NGK plugs and wires and valve cover gasket
-New Radiator
-It has factory A/C but was not blowing cold air when I purchased it so I removed the belt. It honestly may only need a recharge but I didn't check.
-New Windshield
-Falken tires with less than 5k miles sitting on 15 aluminum wheels (comes with stock steel wheels and junk tires that hold air)
-All fluids changed at about 158, xxx plus a few oil changes since (changed at 3k mile intervals)
-Front splitter as well as Euro style manual mirrors
-It has Sony Explode speakers as well as a head unit capable of aux. (the head unit needs a new mounting bracket to be put into place but is wired in)
-When purchased there was a large dent in the passenger rear quarter which is crudely popped out.
-The cracked rear bumper was replaced
-I patched both front fender bottoms with actual sheet metal and replaced them
-There are two small rust holes in drivers rear rocker that could easily be patched or filled if you don't care
-Lastly I have obviously painted the entire body to resemble a WWII P40 fighter plane (Google it) which I put an immense amount of time and effort into. Though keep in mind the paint was not sprayed in optimal conditions and was spray can. (This means a few things which I want to make sure is clear to the buyer, the paint is not extremely tough, it is prone to scratching and staining very easily, and it also very cheap and easy to touch up with most of the paint being available from Walmart. The exception would be the hood which is stripped down to bare aluminum which is also something that shows marks unless kept clean.)
-It comes with some extra parts as well
Lastly if you have any questions message me and I will do my best to answer them. I can also provide more pictures.
I hold the right to end this auction if I so choose to do so.
