You are looking at a 1996 Mazda Miata base model. The car is in good used condition. It was driven daily until July when I got a newer Miata.
The car runs good and just passed NJ state inspection in June 2015.
The car would be a good candidate for restoration, or as a parts car.
The car does have Salvage History on the title. It was involved in an accident in 2009. It was then repaired, inspected and a new title issued from New Jersey Motor Vehicle.
Here is a list of things that are in need of repair on the car:
There is a stone chip in the windshield. It has been repaired, and car did pass inspection with the repair in place.
There is rust on both quarter panels around the rear wheel arch (see pictures)
The airbag light is staying on. It blinks a '6' code and I believe it is a bad control module.
The convertible top needs to be replaced.
The rear window has torn loose at the top rh corner. It is temporarily glued in position
The paint on the front bumper is cracked from a bump with another car in stop and go traffic.
There are some miscellaneous small dents and dings on the car.
There are no tags on the car, but I will include delivery up to 15 miles from Franklinville NJ 08322 at no charge. Winning bidder can meet me and pay for car and then arrange for delivery if needed. I will only be able to deliver on a Monday or Tuesday.
