Selling this 2006 Mazda RX-8 Base Coupe 4-Door 1.3L, Car was just bought on Feb. 24 at Manheim Auto Auction in Florida and we just got it in to the dealership today 2/27/2016 . At the auction it said it was not running and had salvage , rebuilt title JM1FE173660200441. I checked the car and does not look to have too much of body work but look to have had a full paint job at one time but the paint has faded on the roof and trunk. It has 4 brand new tires and rims are in good condition, Driver seat is a bit worn on the left side and the dash on the top of the passenger airbag is cracked. the rest of the leather is in good shape. Interior besides what was mentioned is in good shape and has everything with no broken or missing parts. Paint besides the top of the car is ok but not perfect, does show some scratches here and there.
The has not been check all that great by a mechanic, we do not know much about the rotary engines. Engine turns over and sounds like its flooded with gas when you try to start, The cover for the fuel pump was uncovered and pump was disconnected when car got to us. Oil is dark and normal for this vehicle. Seems to have everything intact under the hood.
