Up for sale is my 2010 Mazda RX-8 Grand Touring with a 6 speed manual transmission. I purchased this car new in April 2011 from Fitzgerald Mazda in Annapolis, MD; the car has since received all of its scheduled maintenance (I have full service records) at Fitzgerald Mazda. The car has been serviced religiously per Mazda's maintenance schedules and has only received full synthetic Mobil 1 oil. I used this car as my daily driver for two years before converting it to a weekend only toy, at which time I performed the following upgrades:
Racing Beat Intake & Cat Back Exhaust (I also have an Agency Power Mid-Pipe that is not installed as it is for off-road use only and is not street legal)Progress Technology Sway Bars & Upgraded End LinksTein Monoflex Fully Adjustable Coilovers w/Electronic Damping Force Controller (EDFC) to allow for automatic adjustment of suspension stiffness (front & rear independent) from a controller installed in the glove box)Suspension Corner Balancing to maintain 50/50 weight distribution after the vehicle was loweredRear fenders rolled to allow wider wheels/tires at lower ride height
I personally installed the intake and exhaust, however, all of suspension installation, corner balancing, and fender rolling was performed by JE Import Performance in Baltimore, MD - I also have the invoice for this work.

This car is a fully loaded Grand Touring model with every possible option. I chose the Grand Touring over the R3 so that I could get the sunroof, heated seats, and navigation system, none of which were available on the R3. I then had the suspension upgrades performed to upgrade the car's handling capabilities far beyond that of the R3 model. This car has been meticulously cared for and has been my baby since new, unfortunately I find myself driving the car very infrequently and with the recent purchase of a new home it is time for my RX-8 to move on to a new owner who is able to drive and enjoy it. It is truly a fantastic driver's car and would make a fantastic car for someone interested in autocross, weekend lapping sessions, or simply carving up back roads on a nice day.
Please note that while the vehicle is modified, it has never been abused, nor has any questionable work ever been performed. In addition to all of the upgraded/modified components, I still have all of the stock parts and will gladly provide the buyer with any stock parts that they are interested in.
Note: This vehicle has a clean title, however, I do still owe money on it. At the time of delivery the buyer and I can visit the local BB&T branch to satisfy the loan and receive a loan payoff letter that will allow you to title the vehicle in your name along with the title.
Local pickup only. If you choose to have the vehicle shipped, I will gladly work with your shipper provided that they are available to pick the vehicle up locally, but the buyer must make any and all shipping arrangements.
